Sarah Valentine – Director and Consultant

Sarah Valentine has over 25 years experience in Behavioural Profiling, Coaching, Training, Facilitation and Leadership. Sarah has run her own Leadership Development Company since 2011 and works with leaders equipping them with the skills and capabilities to become high performing leaders. Starting her own leadership career in financial services, Sarah moved into consulting in 2011 and has worked in industries including Essential Services, Construction, Financial Services, Education and Retail. Sarah understands that regardless of industry or sector, leaders must be equipped with the right skills to align with the company vision and strategy to get the best out of themselves and their teams. Sarah brings multiple skills, evidence-based learning and more than 25 years of experience, creating a safe, open and trusting environment for the real stuff to be dealt with while effectively holding people accountable.
Sarah is facilitator, leadership coach and behavioural profiler. She is a Master Practitioner in NLP,accredited Thought Code Profiler, Extended DISC Behavioural profiler and 360 Feedback consultant,coach and trainer and has a Diploma of Business (Public Relations). Sarah has also studied Business Management and Psychology and Positive Psychology.

Matt Shanahan – Consultant
Matt is a highly experienced consultant and facilitator with over 25 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering a broad range of personal, leadership and organisational development programs. Matt combines his studies in psychology with a deep humanistic approach to understanding the complexity of organisational needs and how to provide the most practical and sustainable solutions to the challenges they face. He has a deep fascination and passion for understanding how people discover energy and purpose and then apply this in the work environment to achieve their own and the organisation’s goals. He
works seamlessly between the board and and executive level right through to the front line. His experience spans senior segments of the Victorian public sector, executive level work with ASX listed companies and also the community and NFP sector.
Matt holds an honours degree in psychology from UNSW, a certificate IV in workplace training and assessment, a certificate IV in outdoor recreation and accreditations in MBTI, Human Synergistics LSI, GSI, LI & MI.
SOME OF MATT’S RECENT ENGAGEMENTS :
Lead facilitator for the executive team development of one of Australia’s largest mining companies. Encompassing deep transformational team workshops and cross organisational workshops on vision, strategy and culture.
A decade long engagement as the key external consultant for all executive learning and development for a large international testing inspection and certification company. This involved the design and delivery of executive leadership training across Australia, Asia, Africa, North America and Europe.
Ongoing engagement as the lead consultants for the cultural development of several infrastructure alliances in Victoria. This involves defining and assessing the current culture of the multi-party alliance, capturing and communicating the culture as well as workshops on how to build and strengthen the
desired culture.
Leadership coach for key leaders in one of Australia’s largest waste management and recycling organisations. Involved weekly leadership sessions, the development of leadership scorecards and the integration of individual leadership approaches into the organisational strategy and direction.
Bray Cohen – Consultant
Bray is an experienced consultant and facilitator of 25 years, working across a range of areas including complex change and team effectiveness. His key quality is the ability to integrate and balance the people issues with the hardcore business objectives. Bray has a strong capability to bring diverse leadership and cross-functional groups together and galvanize them quickly with deep engagement to work productively and effectively on complex projects. The result is that change can be implemented to maximize effectiveness and build ability to adapt in a changing external environment and still maintain productivity.

Project manager and lead designer of a transformational change leadership program for a large insurance organisation division to lift levels of effectiveness and accountability.
Project director and lead designer facilitator and coach of a leadership development program and cultural transformation programme for a major State Government transport Authority. The design was planned to transform culture to higher levels of cross collaboration of divisions and to prepare the organisation for assimilation into a broader an all-encompassing State Government department.
Project director, designer, coach and facilitator of a leadership program to support a major transformation with a NSW government transport agency that provides engineering products and operates in a highly sensitive and complex environment. The program was delivered to the top three levels of leadership across the organisation and includes provision of consultation to offer an integrated strategic view of delivery. The outcome was to ensure growth as leaders and retention of resources whilst creating a more engaging culture.
Project manager and lead designer of a leadership development program for federal government authority delivering compliance and consultation to a specialist group in the community. The program was designed to executive team and dovetailed with the next three levels of leadership across the organisation. The design and roll out was to be a leadership led initiative to shift the organisational culture toward be more client centric.
